Monthly Meetings

We meet on the third Monday of each month at the Western Sizzlin in Russellville (1105 East Main Street).  If you wish, you can meet us at 6:00 pm to eat.  The meetings start at 7:00 pm.  We normally have a fly give away at each meeting.  To participate, bring either two flies or $2.  At the end of the meeting, a lucky person gets the flies and the club gets the money.

Exceptions: 

• We don't meet in October as we encourage club members to attend the Federation of Fly Fishers Southern Council's annual conclave in Mountain Home, Arkansas. 
• We don't meet in July - we're too busy fishing.
• The December meeting is held at the Lake Dardanelle State Park where we have our annual chili cook-off.

Special Events

December 4, 2010
Fifth Annual Trout Day - CADDIS will be assisting with the kick-off of the Family & Community Fisheries Program in Russellville. The AG&FC will be stocking the Pleasant View pond with trout. Activities start at 9:00 am.  The specific date is to be determined.

Annual Christmas Chili cook-off -  Our annual chili cook-off takes place at the Weigh in Station Lake Dardanelle State Park.  Cook up a batch of your favorite chili and share it with the club.  All family members are welcome.  We'll start around 6:30 pm.

Annual Celebration Banquet - The CADDIS Fly Fishing Club's Fourteenth Annual Celebration Banquet. In addition to dinner, there will be a silent auction and numerous raffle items.

The banquet will be held at ATU Chambers Cafeteria starting at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $20 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under.
